n 经典问题答题思路

目前考研复试都有英语面试，有些学校只要求英语自我介绍，有些则要求用英语回答一些一般或专业性的问题。

1. 自我介绍

英语自我介绍是复试的“敲门砖”，是考官了解你的首要途径。一般在2-3分钟左右，内容可包括：

①开场白

开场白一般就是简单寒暄问候的客套话，注意礼貌用语。

例如：

Good morning/afternoon, dear professors. I am very happy that I am qualified for this interview. It is a privilege to be here today.

②个人信息

主要介绍自己的姓名、家乡、专业、学校、专业、性格等信息。

例如：

My name is Li Lei, 22 years old. I graduated from XX, majored in XX. I want to pursue my master’s degree in XX here. I am open-minded, easy-going and enthusiastic. I am always willing to explore new things and easily cooperate with others. 

③考研动机

考研原因从兴趣、自我优势和意义，以及表达对进入目标院校的渴望出发。

兴趣：强调对所报考的专业怀有极大的兴趣。

例如：

As I have a profound interest in XX, I am planning to get further education.

优势：自己做过哪方面的努力/学术经历/实践经历，可以对研究生学习有所帮助。例如：

I have a good command of XX. This will help me achieve more in this field.

意义：强调读研对你的积极意义，包括学术发展、职业发展、人生影响等。

例如：

I am planning to concentrate on study and research in this field. And I hope I can form a systematic view of XX and lay a solid foundation in my future profession after three years of study here.

渴望进入目标院校：简单表达对进入目标院校的渴望。

例如：

I always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. Of course, if I am given a chance to study XX in this famous University, I will stare no effort to master a good command of advance XX.

2.介绍本科学校

Would you please tell me something about your university?

回答思路参考：

（需要你提前了解好自己的学校，注意基调是讲优势，不要说本科学校不好。）可以介绍本科学校的历史悠久、建立时间、占地面积、教学科研能力等等。

参考答案：

XX University is one of the oldest universities in China. It was founded in XX and covers an area of over 1，000 years. The building area is XX square meters. It develops into a comprehensive university with efforts of generations, especially after the reform and opening up. It takes the lead among the universities with nice teaching and scientific research ability. The library has a storage of books. Various research institutes are set up including 31 research centers. There are teaching research experimental bases. For example, the computer center, analyzing-test center, modern education technical center and so on.

3.谈谈你的优点

What is your greatest strength？

回答思路参考：

这是你展示自己的最佳机会，不要吹嘘自己或过于自负，尽可能展现你的自信和优点。比如责任心等优点（有助于工作和学习）。

参考答案：

As for my strongest strength, I think it is my conscientiousness in work and learning, which promotes me to develop unceasingly, devote myself to my work and do a good job. I think it is helpful for my future work.

4.缺点

What is your deficiency?

回答思路参考：

不要真的去讲缺点，而且建议只说一点，比如做事有点急性子、完美主义这种，看似是缺点，实际又算是优点。

参考答案：

Well, my greatest weakness may be my tendency to make decisions too fast during workplace crisis. A little thoughtless. Certainly I think it is necessary to look before you leap, especially to the medic.

5.为什么选这个专业

Why did you choose XX as your postgraduate major？

回答思路参考：

对于这个问题要回答到导师想听的点上，比如自己喜欢这个专业、对该专业感兴趣，结合自身优势适合读此专业，该专业的应用前景不错等。

参考答案：

I am very interested in this major. This is the most important reason I choose it as my major. What’s more, I am good at （自身优势）. Thirdly, it is so promising that knowledge in this major can be used in many fields. It takes an leading role in （具体的某一领域）.

6.研究生期间的计划

Tell me your plans in the postgraduate study.

回答思路参考：

主要围绕学术学习方面展开就可以，比如系统学习专业知识、全面理解就读专业知识，甚至提出未来进一步深造的想法等。

参考答案：

First, I hope I can form systematic view of XXX（专业知识）. As for XXX, my express wish is to get a complete comprehension of the formation and development for XXX. If possible, I will go on with my study for doctorate degree. In a word, I am looking forward to making a solid foundation for future profession after two years study here.

2. 当没听清或没听懂老师的问题时，可以礼貌地请老师复述或解释问题。比如：

I’m sorry I didn’t hear that clearly. May l ask you to repeat it, please？

对不起，我没听清楚，您可否重复一遍呢？

I beg your pardon. I don’t understand your question.

请原谅，我有点没懂您的问题。

3. 当老师们没有理解或者误解你的回答时，要解释清楚。比如：

Excuse me. I guess l am not making myself clear. May I explain further？

对不起，我想是我自己没有表达清楚。我可以进一步解释一下吗？

或许我能试着用另一种方式解释一下。
